NEW RESEARCH CAMPAIGN FUELS DISCOVERY AND INNOVATION AT THE PRINCESS MARGARET

On June 25, 2015, The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation announced a $50 million campaign to raise funds for research at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

This campaign supports The PMCF's overarching five-year Billion Dollar Challenge and will enable The Princess Margaret to lead the way in Personalized Cancer Medicine. Now in the fourth year of the five-year challenge, The PMCF has established the critical goal of $50 million to fund research and provide the building blocks for discovery and advancement of new therapies.

As one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world, The Princess Margaret has a rich history of discovery and innovation, including the discovery of stem cells by Drs. James Till and Ernest McCulloch in 1961. This legacy of high impact research excellence continues today--and can be further expedited with your financial support.

At The Princess Margaret, we have 5 research areas that are the fundamental pillars to our research success. To accelerate progress for today's patients as well as tomorrow's, each research pillar requires an excess of $10 million to drive the translation of research into improved patient care.
